Tea in the United States covers everything from a traditional Chinese or Japanese tea house to a Southern sweet-tea counter, and the fastest-growing segment is bubble tea: Taiwanese-style milk teas and fruit teas with tapioca pearls, sold by chains and independents alike with adjustable sugar and ice levels. Tea rooms serving afternoon tea with scones and sandwiches usually require a reservation, while boba shops, juice bars and smoothie shops are walk-in and quick. Kava and kombucha bars are a newer category, and loose-leaf tea stores sell blends, teaware and gifts, often with a tasting counter. Prices for a drink run similar to coffee-shop prices, with premium teas and cold-pressed juices at the high end.

Fun British pub experience. Service was quick, efficient and friendly. Nice menu range for breakfast through dinner โ€” they also do afternoon tea - offering British fare like Scotch Eggs, Shepherdโ€™s Pie, Fish and Chips and more. Food was very good. I had the bangers and mash while my husband had the Cornish pasty. We shared toffee pudding for dessert. There is a British shop next door to the pub. Trivia night once a week. Would definitely go again.

This was the worst fish and chips Iโ€™ve ever had. The draft beer was disappointing too. The glass was cold, but the beer itself wasnโ€™t. The fish and chips tasted like they were fried in old oil. The fish had a strong ocean-water taste, seemed like a very cheap type of fish, and was watery inside, almost as if it wasnโ€™t cooked all the way through. The only positive was the large screen for watching the game. When we arrived, the hostess asked us to share a booth with another couple because there were only two of us. We agreed, but no one ever joined us. Then, unbelievably, she brought a random man over and seated him in our booth. That was very awkward and uncomfortable. She kept telling us to stay where we were instead of letting us have the booth to ourselves during the game. The air conditioning also wasnโ€™t working. It was hot inside with almost no fresh air, making the experience very uncomfortable. Overall, this is not a sports bar I would recommend. We usually go to Barneyโ€™s Beanery on 3rd Street, where the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere are much better.

Went for a quick breakfast while visiting from Florida, and let me tell you this was the absolute highlight of my trip! Sarah made our entire trip with her warm service and kindness. From one waitress to another she did amazing! The food was delicious and if I am ever in L.A. again Iโ€™ll definitely return!

Brit here and food was on point (had steak and Guinness pie with mash). The gravy was perfect ๐Ÿ‘Œ as was the tenderness of the meat and flaky filo pastry. Also staff was very friendly and welcoming. Fun atmosphere too. Finishing with bread & butter pudding and super excited for the birds eye custard (iykyk)

We were wandering along the coastline in Santa Monica and looked for an eatery nearby. Kings Head was open, and we hadnโ€™t had fish & chips in a while, so walked over. Very pleasant place - pub atmosphere inside and some sidewalk patio seating. We were promptly seated, and our server was attentive. We ordered the side salad and two piece fish & chips to share. If youโ€™re not a big eater, it would be easy to share the two piece. The pieces are (seriously) the size of small burritos, and you get a pile of fries. The salad was mid-sized and nice. The photo posted gives you a pretty good idea of portion sizes. I would definitely recommend this place - and will keep it in mind when weโ€™re in the area!
